Plotkin & Sons Shoe Co. offers the following Returns Policy: While we are highly committed to customer satisfaction, we do not accept returns for shoes or clothing that have been worn, or handled in any way. Under exceptionally rare circumstances, where a manufactures defect has occurred that simultaneously has been over looked by multiple inspections, we will provide the manufactures information, return conditions and procedures. In our 100 years of experience, the vast majority of returns are the result of "buyers-remorse", where the consumer has purchased a sub-standard product, not unlike those frequently acquired from popular discount stores, that naturally has a sub-standard life-span. Typically, these individuals are initially very satisfied obtaining a "$150 pair of boots for only $20!!" but then think that something must have been defective, when the need arises to purchase a second pair in 2-3 months. While under certain circumstances purchasing low-quality low-cost apparel is necessary, in the long run, a pattern of purchasing disposable-quality products is less cost -efficient and more time consuming for the consumer. It is a wasteful use of natural resources and delivers a larger strain on our environment unnecessarily.
