- About Us
The J.G.Plotkin & Son Shoe Company of today dates back to its very beginning in 1910. The company began as a shoe making operation for larger manufacturers. By 1962, the principals, were founder Samuel Plotkin, and his son Joseph Plotkin and a partner Louis Arenberg. In the earlier years the company diversified with retail shoes stores, and a wholesale distributing company, servicing farm and shoe outlets in the east. Manufacturing Investments still prevailed throughout the history of the company.
